Talent Acquisition Specialist

We’re constantly adapting the latest in mobile technologies to empower our clients to be more efficient and profitable with their business operations.

Our team is growing and we are on the hunt for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources Team in Toronto. You are someone with experience with in-house recruitment in a rapidly growing technology sector. You are a brand ambassador and have an innovative approach to acquiring talent. You have experience recruiting in multiple areas (technology, sales, product, marketing, etc).  To be successful in our dynamic environment you must have excellent organizational and communication skills, put the customer first, and be a true team player.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with the hiring manager to understand the roles and scope that you are recruiting for including appropriate compensation for each role. 
  • Source, screen and assess talent in order to provide recommendations to managers on best fit.
  • Manage the recruitment process including document/track all pertinent information using Applicant Tracking System, (JazzHR).
  • Build/maintain pipeline of candidates for recurring and hard to fill roles through appropriate and targeted sourcing.
  • Conduct preliminary phone interviews/screens with selected candidates to further validate skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements using behavioral based interview techniques. Manage the front to back process for every hire.
  • Work with the HR Director to implement new recruitment processes, strategies and ideas.
  • Get involved in other HR initiatives as a member of the team.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years directly relevant recruitment experience. Priority is given to candidates with experience in rapidly growing companies.
  • Strong sourcing, networking, and lead generation skills to locate candidates with difficult to find skill sets in local and other markets.
  • Excellent relationship building skills and proven ability to provide value added consultative service; experience providing consultative recruitment support in a coaching and advisory capacity to all levels of management.
  • Strong client service orientation; results oriented, multitasking and strong sense of urgency.
  • Strong MS Office skills including Word and Excel.
  • Experience using an ATS or JazzHR is an asset.
