Business Development Manager

We’re constantly adapting the latest in mobile technologies to empower our clients to be more efficient and profitable with their business operations.

We are seeking a proven, tactical and strategic Business Development Manager to lead a team of Business Development Representatives who are tasked with growing our footprint within the restaurant and hospitality segment.  This individual will lead a highly visible and motivated team that generates leads and achieves individual, team and organizational quotas. You'll be a valuable contributor to the sales strategy while providing definition and implementation of the plan for sales to achieve corporate objectives.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Hire, Train, and Manage team of Business Development Reps
  • Develop Reps into sales-ready candidates for future Sales Representative positions
  • Reporting on sales activity and forecast to senior sales management
  • Motivate Individuals and Team to exceed objectives through coaching, regular broadcast of results, and creative incentives
  • Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of process, efficiency, and productivity 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of business development experience in an individual contributor and management role, including 2+ years sales/lead management experience.
  • Proven record of success in a similar software application environment
  • Successful track record in a high volume transaction sales environment
  • Working knowledge/experience of the Restaurant/POS space
  • You are highly organized and able to prioritize tasks for the team
  • Excellent presentation and listening skills
  • Must be able to thrive in a very fast paced environment
  • Ability to hire and train new Business Development Representatives
  • Related Bachelor's degree
