Outbound Business Development Representative

Your mission as a TouchBistro Outbound Business Development Representative (OBDR) is to connect, qualify, and ultimately create business opportunities with restaurant owners in the U.S., Canada, and other parts of the world. You do this via outbound telephone prospecting. Working closely with both the Sales and Marketing teams, you build and grow a lead pipeline that will meet or exceed opportunity targets. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Meet or exceed monthly outbound opportunity quotas
  • Prospect, engage, book appointments, set up discovery calls, and schedule product demos
  • Effectively manage and grow sustainable lead pipelines
  • Generate qualified leads and opportunities using marketing and 3 rd party generated contact lists
  • Adhere to OBDR messaging protocol and cadence
  • Track, report, and understand your personal performance metrics
  • Demonstrate team work, learn, and share best practices
  • Go above and beyond when required to meet targets or support the team


 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2 to 3 years of phone-based outbound business development experience
  • 4 Year University degree at a recognized University
  • 1 to 2 years of experience with Salesforce
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Organized with a high level of attention to detail
  • Must have a ‘can-do’ attitude


• Nice to have – Have worked in the restaurant service capacity in the past
